Video: Scaling Up Agile Product Teams (at Cisco)

Cisco generously hosted this April 4th talk on their IPTV network, excerpted below.

Length: 1 hour

Topic: Product Managers, Product Owners, and Scalable Models for Agile Product Teams

  • Product Managers ≠ Product Owners
  • Failure Modes
  • Small and Large Organizational Maps

For this audience (and other enterprise-class software organizations), I suggested a product owner selection process for large multi-team programs where each team may need different sets of product skills — then connected this back to product/portfolio-level product management.

My thanks to Cisco’s IPTV team for tremendously high production values. Apologies for my striped shirt’s moire effect.
